Azadi Ka Mahotsav-14
Independence Day is an annual commemoration to celebrate the historic achievement of India to gain freedom from the British empire. This day we pay tribute to those freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the sake of the motherland. Freedom is truly expensive. It was won by the blood of thousands of our fallen heroes. May we always reflect on their sacrifice.
Feeling of patriotism and gratitude does not end here after this very Day.
To continue with the celebrations of this August month as, “Azadi Ka Mahotsav”, students of Grade 8 highlighted some of Indian traditions and customs which they felt proud sharing with their students and teachers of KVM. They acquainted them with the importance of the age old traditions being
practised in India because although we were aware but still ignorant about their usage like Namaste,Athithi Dwvo Bhava and Natya Shastra
Students were encouraged and appreciated by worthy school Principal Mr A.P. Sharma and Incharge Middle section, Mrs. Komal Arora.
