“It’s easier to take than to give. It’s nobler to give than to take. The thrill of taking lasts a day. The thrill of giving lasts a lifetime”.    - Joan Marques

Community service is and will always be an important part of life of students of Kundan Vidya Mandir.

Community service hours completed in school will help the students to get admission and recognition in the best universities of the world. Each student from classes IX and X has to compulsorily choose to be a member of one of the four domains of community service at Kundan Vidya Mandir. These four domains are :- Udgam, Saksham, Kundanites ki narmada and Prarth. Each of these groups have specific aims and learning outcomes.

UDGAM provides the students of class 9 & 10 an opportunity of a community noble cause of interacting with differently abled students. Students  outreach places like VRTC & School for Dumb &  Deaf Children to share and spread. Students, under the guidance of their mentors, teach various activities like dance ,music, art ,sports and cooking without fire. A charity fund raising by students  for this community service enables students to bring festival cheer of Diwali for their special friends . Not only do Kundanities go to VRTC or School for Deaf & Dumb  but their students are invited to put up their stalls in the special events of the school like Diwali Mela & Dadi-Nani Ki Rasoi.

Learning objectives :

This community service will be a blessing not only to these visually impaired and deaf and dumb children, but to our students of KVM, developing sensitivity and empathy and contributing meaningfully to society.
