Safe Commute For Students

The six school buses (Route 1,2,4,5,8 and 9) of Civil Lines and one school bus of City Campus that ply follow all guidelines for the safety of students as laid down by the CBSE and DTO. The parents must ensure that these guidelines are being followed before enrolling their ward to commute in privately owned buses. Parents must also ensure that the drivers of these buses are not using alcohol/drugs or abusive language while transporting the children.

It falls on parents to assure that the vehicle in which they are sending their wards is authorized and there is not overloading. The school is not responsible for such vehicles which are approved or NOT authorized by the school authorities or the traffic department.

For any immediate queries or complaints, the supervisor at the City Campus and the MTO at the Civil Lines Campus must be contacted.

Road Safety Etiquettes

Dear Parent

Your ward’s safety is of prime importance.

To ensure this, comply with the following:

  1. Don’t give your ward a motored vehicle to commute to school before the recommended age, that is, below 16 years.
  2. Only students who have attained the age of 16 years and have a valid learner license can ply on a battery operated two wheeler. However, if students are plying on cycle or a permitted gearless scooter, they must purchase the parking token from the MTO office and park their vehicles inside the campus in the basement parking.
  3. Give your ward only ISI mark helmets and proper cycling gear if they are commuting on their own.

You are a role model for your ward, thus, always follow traffic rules, and wear a helmet while driving a two wheeler and fasten the seatbelt while driving a four wheeler.
