Kundan Vidya Mandir, Ludhiana is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (Affiliation number 1630002). We are the first school in Punjab to get affiliation to CBSE in 1963. CBSE is a progressive School Education Board in India which aims to provide quality education to the learners so that they can assume key roles in the knowledge society. CBSE is committed to make the learners competent in intellectual, social and cultural aspects. The Board has devised a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation framework to enable holistic development of confident and ingenious future citizens.

Kundan Vidya Mandir, Ludhiana has now been recognized as a "Fit India School" by Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Fit India Movement is a nation-wide movement in India to encourage people to remain healthy and fit by including physical activities and sports in their daily lives. It was launched by our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi at Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi on 29th August 2019 (National Sports Day).

Kundan Vidya Mandir, Ludhiana, proudly holds membership in the National Progressive Schools' Conference (NPSC). Established in 1973, NPSC is a distinguished association of senior secondary schools nationwide, boasting a membership of 150 leading private schools. The organization's motto, 'Quality, Commitment, and Excellence,' underscores its dedication to fostering high standards in education. NPSC is committed to driving positive changes in the educational landscape of India through collaborative efforts. This includes initiatives spanning teaching-learning methodologies, policy formulation, scholastic and co-scholastic endeavors, and educational reforms. NPSC collaborates closely with esteemed governmental bodies such as the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), the National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), as well as prestigious academic institutions like the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Additionally, NPSC works alongside educational boards such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Department of Education (DOE), Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT), along with various national and international agencies.

Proud to announce the Kundan Vidya Mandir, Ludhiana has got the National Operator License to run IAYP programme for adolescents for their holistic growth. Students will have the opportunity to achieve internationally accredited three levels of the award – Bronze, Silver and Gold.

We have introduced N.C.C. Army Wing since 1995 under the LUDHIANA GROUP HEADQUATERS. We have N.C.C. for all four wings i.e. JW (JUNIOR WING GIRLS)/ SW (SENIOR WING GIRLS) /JD (JUNIOR DIVISION BOYS) /SD (SENIOR DIVISION BOYS).

The school has enrolled 153 Girls and 100 Boys. T/O CHANDER SHARMA was the first ANO appointed as NCC Incharge in 2000. Along with institutional training and special camp training we prepare cadets to participate in national camps and certificate exams. To train the cadets we have Associate N.C.C. 

Officers appointed T/O PALLAVI KHANNA (for JUNIOR WING), LT. NEETY SHARMA (for SENIOR WING), C/T KAPIL KAKKAR (for JUNIOR DIVISION), C/T SANTOSH MAHAPATRA (for SENIOR DIVISION) and under the guidelines of N.C.C. GROUP / UNIT, school principal, ANO’S do the training and testing of cadets timely for shaping them up for the achievements and to bring feathers to KVM CROWN.

Cadets are always on front foot to perform duties and maintain discipline in school campus and in special school celebrations. School is associated with 2 N.C.C. units i.e. 3 PUNJAB GIRLS BATTALION N.C.C. LUDHIANA & 3 PUNJAB BATTALION N.C.C. LUDHIANA.
