The Capacity Building Program on "Cognitive Bandwidth," was conducted by LSSC at Drishti Dr. R C Jain Innovative Public School, Ludhiana. Two Counsellors from our KVM school, Ms. Shikha Verma and Ms. Pansy Walia attended the same and found the workshop highly informative and engaging. The Resource Persons, Dr. Manisha Gangwar and Ms. Gunreet Kaur focused on how limited cognitive bandwidth affects daily productivity, emphasizing practical strategies to manage mental resources. Interactive activities and real-life case studies made the session relatable and impactful. 50 Counsellors and Teachers from different schools attended the workshop and gained valuable insights on optimizing focus and reducing distractions. The take away of the session included that each one of us has a limit to our Bandwidth be it physical, cognitive, social or emotional. We must take a pause, reflect on ourselves, recharge, prioritize and then restart with the work. The work-life balance is must to deal with inner conflicts and make peace. Overall, it was a fruitful and well-received session.
