UN International Day For Natural Disaster Reduction is held every 13 October.

The day celebrates how people and communities around the world are reducing their exposure to disasters and raising awareness about the importance of reining in the risks that they face.

Preparatory Section of Kundan Vidya Mandir School marked the day by showing a ppt to students of grade 3 to 5 explaining the types of natural distasters and the ways to overcome them with the discussion of emergency numbers.

The children were apprised as to how presence of mind and farsightedness is required in such severe situations.
