The students of the Middle Section (classes VI, VII and VIII) from Kundan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, were apprised on the fact that life is a journey of growth and self-discovery. As per the guidelines issued by CBSE, students were explained about the importance of Self- Evaluation as a tool for continuous improvement leading to success. The grades on the portfolio will be given according to the basic self-recognition on the SWOT analysis, the self-assessment on the socio-emotional and behavioural aspects. It was also mentioned that students will also be assessed by their peers which is also considered as the contribution to the impactful and diligent learning. The 5 point grading criteria were discussed with the students as they will have to evaluate themselves and their friends with utmost honesty. The session was marked with lot of enthusiasm to dwell into introspection. It was a fruitful session for the students.
