World Senior Citizen Day, the members of Kundanites Ki Narmada from the middle section got an opportunity to visit Swami Vivekanand Old Age Home in Model Town. This activity was done under the guidelines of Co-ordinator of KKN, Mrs. Mona Wadhawan.

As we entered the old age home, we saw the residents were seated in the common area busy in various activities such as reading, or having talks with one another.

We started the celebration with the distribution of certain things we got for them, such as clothes, fruits and eatables. They told us many things ,some happy and some sad. After that, we played music for all of them. They were really happy, so were we.

At last, we cut the cake and distribute it. We all left with a sense of gratitude for them and staff who took care of them.

We got back to the bus and reached school soon.

On the whole this day made us appreciate elderly and then contribute towards the society. It also made us realise the hardships they face besides teaching us to be empathetic.

In the end, I would like to thank Co-ordinator of KKN-Mrs. Mona Wadhawan, Incharge of Middle Section Mrs. Komal Arora and respected Principal Mr. A.P. Sharma for this wonderful experience.
