In a bid to enhance road safety and instil responsible commuting habits among its students, KVM organised a second session on traffic awareness in collaboration with Traffic Police ,Ludhiana and “NGO -Safe Drive- Stay Alive”. ACP Traffic-1, Mr.Charanjiv Lamba,PPS and Mr.Naval Kishore Kaura were the guest of Honour for the day.They were accorded a warm welcome by the Middle Section Incharge,Mrs. Komal Arora who presented books to them as a token of gratitude. These initiatives taken up by school aim to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the streets safely.
Mr.Charanjiv Lamba apprised the students about the dangers of speeding, driving under the influence of liquor, violating basic traffic guidelines etc. and importance of abiding by the traffic rules. Students were further told about the importance of minimizing risk by wearing safety helmets, seat belts, following rules and driving safely. Mr. Lamba appreciated the efforts of the school faculty and students for promoting traffic awareness in the society. Mr.Naval Kishore Kaura spoke on the do's and don'ts of traffic rules. In short, it was a lesson for the students to recognize the importance of being educated about road safety.
