Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav

"The true measure of Independence is the freedom to dream, to aspire, and to achieve our goals."
The dawn of August 1 fills the hearts and the minds of all the Indians with patriotic fervour. The same was experienced by the students and the teachers of the Middle Section. To instil love for the country and sense of belonging the Social Science department, under the guidance of their incharge Mrs. Komal Arora has planned to organise different activities like campaigns enactments, role plays related to freedom fighters, painting competition sandwich making etc for the whole month of August.
Today August 1, the students of class -8 carried out a campaign to apprise others about the Non Cooperation Movement which started on August 1,1920. The main aim of the movement was to boycott British schools, colleges, law courts legislature etc. The purpose behind was to inculcate among the students the respect for the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters.
