Teej festival is the identity of civilization and culture.
“Teej festival and No Bag Day” was organized at Kundan Vidya Mandir Civil Lines on July 22, 2023, under which full day fun school was held in the secondary department. In which the children showed their talent in various activities. First of all, all the students took skill classes according to their interest. After this the children played various games like pithu garam, marbles, skipping and stapu. The only purpose of these games was to connect the children with the civilization and culture of Punjab.
Swings were installed on the occasion of Sawan, while mehndi and rangoli competitions were conducted. Like every year, children made rakhis and cards with their own hands for the soldiers of our army posted on the borders of the country to express their gratitude towards them. Prizes were also given in Mehndi and Rangoli competitions. The children turned this atmosphere into a celebration by eating Kheer-Pude, the famous dish of Sawan. At the same time, stalls of bangles and other items were also set up to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship among the children. On this occasion, School Principal Mr. AP Sharma and Head of Secondary Department Mrs. Komal Arora encouraged the children. The children also took an oath to uphold the Punjabi heritage and stay connected with the culture. All the children were very happy.
