Baisakhi celebration at Kundan Vidya Mandir, City Campus
Festivals are special days to celebrate tradition, culture, and heritage with peace, and harmony. They bring joy and happiness. Keeping up with the tradition of celebrating all the festivals with great fervor and gaiety and to acquaint the students with the rich culture and heritage of India, Baisakhi was celebrated at Kundan Vidya Mandir, City Campus on 13.04.2023 with great zest and zeal.
A special morning assembly was conducted which included a group song and speech which was given by Gurman of class VIII B on the Baisakhi festival. Saira Sharma of class VII A, also recited a poem in punjabi to highlight the importance of the day. The tiny tots came dressed in traditional Punjabi colourful attires and enjoyed savouries. Students danced to the beat of dhol.
Many theme based activities were also planned like colouring a ‘Dhol’ and decorating it in a creative way by using studs and stickers. Children had a lot of fun. The teachers encouraged the children to enjoy and respect all the festivals .
