Kundan Vidya Mandir Sr.Sec school celebrated Teachers Day by honouring and appreciating the teaching fraternity and paying tributes to Dr. S. Radha Krishnan.

 This auspicious occasion was graced by  Mr. Ashwani Kumar,  the secretary Shri Kundan Lal trust,  Mr. A. P. Sharma the school principal, Mrs Sonia Verma the school vice principal and all the section heads.

 The day began with a prayer meeting  organized by the children,  in which the head boy of the school played the role of the principal , the head girl  as the vice-principal and the teachers played the role of  students.  The members of the school prefect council expressed their gratitude to their teachers by presenting the beautiful cards.

In her address  the vice-principal, Mrs Sonia Verma congratulated everyone  on this special day and highlighted the importance of the teachers day.

After that a cultural programme was presented by the teachers in which performances  like women empowerment,  Dumb Charades  Aashayen,  medley based on Rag Yaman and “Antarman ka  Rangmanch “ were presented .

 In the award ceremony  various   teachers from all the sections were appreciated  and honoured  for their diligence, sincerity, punctuality ,hard work and excellent achievements.

In his address, Mr. Ashwani Kumar  emphasized that teaching is a calling too. And teachers in their way are holy—angels leading their students out of the darkness.”The glory of the Guru cannot be described .

 In his speech,  the school  Principal , Mr A.P. Sharma  praised the teachers for their achievements  and encouraged them to soar  high .

Mrs Komal Arora ,the incharge Middle Section proposed a vote thanks .
