Kundan Vidya Mandir civil lines Ludhiana celebrated the 73rd Republic Day with immense patriotic fervour and zeal through an online platform. A plethora of activities  including fancy dress competition, elocution of speeches by freedom fighters and great Indian leaders, were organised to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among the students.

Col. H.S. Kahlon Vir Chakra awardee, was the chief guest of the occasion.  Mr.V.K. Goyal, the chairman, school managing committee, Mr. Ashwani Kumar, the secretary, School managing committee,  Mr. Steven Soni, the treasurer,  joined the programme .The other members joined the programme virtually.

 

After the welcome of guests ( online as well as offline)the ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag by the chief guest in the morning in the school  premises. 

Flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland. The chief guest  congratulated the audience  on this occasion and addressed the inspiring them to strive harder to bring pride and glory to the country.

The chairman school managing committee, Mr V.K. Goyal urged the students to know their rights and duties towards the nation.

 The virtual cum live  celebration  commenced with the address by the Director Academics, Kundan Vidya Mandir, Mr A.P. Sharma. He dedicated the celebration to the undying human spirit to triumph in the face of adversity and touched upon the measures being taken by the nation to help the citizens tide over the economic crises
