Apoorva Sehgal, a student of Kundan Vidya Mandir, Class of 2016, has recently graduated from Harvard University with a Master's in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology. She believes that pivotal experiences with her teachers and classmates at KVM sparked her passion for education. Six years later, as a graduate student at Harvard, Apoorva had the opportunity to learn from professors and peers at the forefront of learning and education. While she laments the fact that not everyone has equal access to similar resources and experiences, she believes that change is on the horizon. As the daughter of a proud KVM teacher, Mrs. Roopa Sehgal, Apoorva is excited to join the next generation of educators who are ushering in a new era of learning that is more equitable, effective, and engaging. She is delighted by the initiatives in education being taken up by the principal and staff at KVM and believes that their students are in safe hands. Finally, she wants to remind the students to read at the library, munch on canteen cuisine, and just have fun. Apoorva is looking forward to joining as a Learning Experience Engineer at Southern New Hampshire University and as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard Graduate School of Education. We wish her the best in her future endeavours.
