Shaping Creativity: Arts and Crafts in Classrooms
“Art is not a mirror held up to reality,
but a hammer with which to shape it.”
Weekly activities play a vital role in nurturing and unleashing the creativity of young minds. This week, students of Classes I and II enthusiastically participated in an engaging arts and crafts session where they crafted colourful ‘Photo Frames’ and intricately designed ‘Bookmarks’ that allowed their imaginations to soar. The students used various materials like ice cream sticks, colourful papers, and decorative items, the students unleashed their imaginations and enhanced their artistic skills. The classroom was filled with excitement as each child proudly showcased their unique creations. These Art Integrated activities play a vital role in developing fine motor skills and fostered teamwork among the young learners.
