Engaging Activities in the Preparatory Club
The Preparatory club activities provide a structured yet flexible way for members to engage, learn and explore new skills. This week, ‘The Splashing Designs’ club focused on a creative and patriotic activity of making a tricolor wrist bands reflecting our pride for the nation. The members of the ‘Culinary club’ embarked on a flavourful journey and prepared the delicious dessert ‘Bread Cream Roll’. The Tinkering club members created the ‘Magic Ball-Blowing Toy’ and understood the basic principles of air pressure and motion. The members of IT club learnt to add on animations and effects in PPT and The Crochet Club focused on making a square mat. The ‘You Speak’ club aimed to enhance members’ vocabulary related to food items used in the kitchen. New concepts were delivered in French and Rack Your Brain clubs which were enthusiastically absorbed by the students. The Dance Club embarked on a cultural journey by learning a traditional folk dance to the song ‘Ram Aaye Mere Ghar’. The music club focused on basic notes and rhythm while the mindfulness club focused on meditation followed by mindful listening and talking. The fusion of learning and enjoyment was visible throughout the club periods.
