CBSE Workshop Equips Teachers with Life Skills Strategies
Kundan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana, hosted a CBSE Capacity Building
Workshop on Life Skills (Advanced) on July 12, 2025. The program brought together educators
committed to equipping students with essential skills for personal and social success.
The workshop opened with a lamp lighting ceremony and an inspiring address by Principal Mr.
Pankaj Joshi, who set the tone for the day by emphasizing on the importance of life skills in
shaping confident, empathetic learners. The resource persons Mr. Gurbhej S. Nagi and Ms.
Ginakshi Kapoor led dynamic sessions covering emotional intelligence, decision-making, and
managing stress.
Interactive presentations and slides explored topics such as coping with emotions, the role of
teachers in life skills education, and innovative classroom strategies. Engaging videos, role
plays, and group discussions encouraged participants to share experiences and reflect on new
practices.
A self-assessment test helped teachers evaluate their strengths and identify growth areas. The
day concluded with a memento presentation and vote of thanks, leaving participants motivated
to create supportive, life skills-rich learning environments.
