Honoring Great Scientists: A Tribute on Science Day
“Science is not just a subject, it is a way of thinking that encourages innovation.”
To promote scientific thinking, students of the Preparatory Section of Kundan Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School (Civil Lines) gathered to celebrate National Science Day. National Science Day is observed every year on February 28 to honour the discovery of the Raman Effect by physicist CV Raman in 1928.
The students took inspiration from great scientists and dressed up as Marie Curie (first woman to win Nobel Prize),Isaac Newton (discoverer of gravity), Charles Babbage (inventor of Computer) and APJ Abdul Kalam (Missile Man of India).
This celebration will surely encourage young minds and serve as a reminder that a scientific curiosity can lead to magnificent discoveries.
