Workshop on English Language and Teaching Methods
Our school hosted a highly enriching workshop for English teachers on Thursday, led by the renowned CBSE resource person, Mrs. Gayatri Khanna. The session witnessed participation from 50 teachers representing 20 different schools, making it a significant platform for professional development.
Mrs. Khanna, a respected expert in English pedagogy, delved into the nuances of the English language, offering insights on effective classroom teaching strategies. She also elaborated on the National Education Policy (NEP) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), highlighting their impact on modern education.
A key focus of the workshop was the parameters set by CBSE for various types of assessments, including diagnostic and remedial teaching. Mrs. Khanna provided practical tips on creating comprehensive lesson plans and designing assessments that cater to diverse student needs.
The participants found the session immensely beneficial, praising its relevance and practicality. "The workshop was an eye-opener, helping us refine our teaching methods and align them with CBSE standards," shared a teacher.
