The Middle Section witnessed a SCIENCE EXTRAVAGANZA as the SCIENCE QUIZ on August 12, 2024. The students were all excited and enthusiastic to participate as teams and audiences as well. Their enthusiasm could be far felt when they named teams after the Scientists. Six teams one from each house : each comprising three members participated : wherein they competed for their scientific knowledge through 10 rounds, viz, who am I ?, know your scientist, key words, rapid fire, damsheras, science surprise, visual round and more. Thrill grew with every passing round and so did the nail biting competition. Participants put all their hard work and efforts in winning the quiz. The exhilaration during the science surprise kept the audience glued and engrossed with the competition. The jumbled words ruffled their brains to get the correct scientific term and its pronunciation.
This EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING ACTIVITY was hosted by the Middle Section Science faculty, under the leadership of the Science Coordinator - Mrs. Anuradha, as a teaching aid to enable students to be more interested in Concept Building, and Outdo Rote Learning.
