CBSE Training for Nodal officers of SAFAL at KVM

A training program on SAFAL (Structured Assessment For Analyzing Learning) was held at kundan Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec School Ludhiana for IT Nodal Officers from Punjab and Haryana today.The program aimed to equip these officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement SAFAL effectively in their respective schools.
The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Manjit Singh, Joint Secretary (Academics ), CBSE, as the Chief Guest. A total of 327 IT Nodal Officers from Punjab and Haryana participated in the training.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
Ms. Harleen Kaur, Master Trainer for SAFAL from Shemrock Public School, Mohali, was the resource person. She delivered a comprehensive training session on SAFAL, covering key aspects such as its purpose, functionalities, assessment methods, and data analysis.
The school school principal Mr. AP Sharma. addressed the gathering emphasizing that Safal will focus on testing core concepts, application of knowledge and higher order thinking skills and thus, support school education to move towards competency-based education.
The chief guest, Dr. Manjit Singh, highlighted the importance of safal and its alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The training provided opportunities for interaction and clarification of doubts.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the school Vice Principal, Mr S. B Chowdhry.
The training program is expected to empower IT Nodal Officers understand the intricacies of SAFAL and Implement SAFAL effectively in their schools
