Kundan Vidya Mandir organises Save Soil Campaign

 “If there is no richness in the soil, there will be no richness in life!”

To mark the importance of conservation of soil, Kundan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School organized a campaign on ‘The Conscious Planet Save Soil Movement’ on May 11 and 12, 2022 in association with Isha foundation. The students wrote letters to the Prime Minister and took the liberty to put forth their views related to soil conservation. Supporting the CBSE campaign in collaboration with Isha Foundation, the Kundanites pledged to save soil. NEP 2020 emphasizes on conservation of natural resources and also points that environmental degradation often leads to poverty and poor health outcomes among people. So, in an enlightening session on May 12, 2022 the resource persons from Isha Foundation sensitised the students on the importance of soil in our ecosystem.  Echoing the views of Sadhguru, the resource persons said that the Magic of Soil is the basis of all riches we see in the world. Children are the future of our nation, so, they were inspired and motivated for making our planet, a greener and a richer place. Mr. A.P.Sharma, the Principal of the school emphasised that the roots of all goodness lie in the work towards saving the soil and the planet as ‘Soil is where life begins, soil is where food begins.’  Each Kundanite pledged to join hands and keep it safe.
