Kundan Vidya Mandir Civil Lines Ludhiana organized 3-Day Annual Athletic Meet. The whole KVM Campus was reverberating with emotions of joy and excitement. On November 29, 2019 the chief guest, Asian Games gold medalist in hockey, Mrs. Sharnjeet Kaur Dhillon, Retd. Principal LLR Government College Dhudike, inspected the guard of honour and unfurled the school flag. She received a crisp salute by the contingents of 6 houses, National Level and State Level players in the form of Parade and he declared the meet open by releasing balloons. Mr. Kapil Gupta the Manager, school managing committee, Mr. V.K Goyal chairman school Managing committee along with other members of management also graced the occasion. The chief guest lauded the grand show put up by the students and encouraged everyone to participate in the sports activities saying that sports are integral part of our life and they inculcate leadership and discipline in us. Mrs. Navita Puri, the school Principal formally welcomed the audience and encouraged the participants to display a fair play, integrity and acceptance in every walk of life. National level players of KVM lit the Kundan Jyoti and oath to ensure the fair play and true sportsmanship was administered by school sports captain, Stuti. For 3 days various track and field events including 1500 m, 800 m, 400 m, 200 m, 4 X 100 m relay, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw, Lemon Race, etc had the audience in high spirit. On the closing ceremony, the chief guest Mr. S. S Brar, (Arjuna Awardee), Deputy Commissioner (Traffic) Ldh gave away the prizes to the National level & State level players. As the event drew to a close, the contingents of 6 houses and all players marched out in perfect co-ordination in tune with the beats of the band.
