Capacity Building Workshop on Happy Classroom A one day Capacity Building Programme on “Happy Classroom” was organised at Kundan Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School on January 29, 2024 under the aegis of Central Board of Secondary Education. It was attended by around 60 teachers from different CBSE affiliated schools. The CBSE resource persons Dr. Navneet Kaur and Ms. Gauri Chhabra were given a warm welcome by the school principal, Mr. A.P. Sharma. The emphasis of this workshop was on creating happy classrooms and working with unbridled enthusiasm. The workshop aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of emotional quotient, strategies for self-regulation, understanding relationships and decoding behavioural language. The participants were prompted to share their viewpoints on different scenarios, delve into their own thoughts and feelings, cultivate self-awareness, and develop relationship management abilities. These objectives were pursued through a range of interactive activities, ensuring the teachers' active engagement throughout the session. Techniques like STOPP and Total Physical Response (TRP) were demonstrated to empower the teachers to understand the learners better to create happy classrooms.
