A sound mind and a healthy body are prerequisites for holistic development of every child. With a view to enable the students improve their analytical power and decision making ability, Preparatory Section of Kundan Vidya Mandir organized Chess Competition on the occasion of ‘International Chess Day’ for Kundanite Champions of grade V on July 20,2023.

The game enables the children to strategize aspects of the game and apply them in real life. In addition, they learnt about the importance of foresight and planning. They learnt to do a thorough analysis, research and assessment of the situation, before making any decision. The mental clarity thus achieved added to their self-esteem.

Preparatory In-charge,Ms. Nafees Bhambi,inspired students to sharpen their memories by learning the intricacies associated with the game.
