Being a parent is no less than a bliss; however, there can never be a more daunting task than to find a perfect way to parenting. A workshop was organized at Kundan Vidya Mandir Sen. Sec School for the parents of Nursery and LKG of both the campuses on the topic- Good Parenting. Vice Principal, Mrs. Sonia Verma was the resource person. Mam told that the world is very different from the one we grew up in. What worked for our parents will not work for us. In the 21st century, parents have a greater role to play. positive parents' support for the child's healthy growth. They should be loving, caring, firm, consistent, and involved. Such parents go beyond communicating their expectations, but practice what they preach by being positive role models for their children to emulate. Several tips were given to nurture child's mental, emotional and physical health. Observe and identify the child's strengths, learning preferences and the learning style. She guided them to be a parent who surrounds one's child with warmth and affection, trains the child to help find one's place in the outer world, and is a good example of a dignified citizen by him- or herself.
