Inter House Debate Competition
Debate provides experiences that are conducive to life-changing, cognitive, and presentational skills.In an endeavour to hone these skills of their students an Inter House Debate Competition was conducted on August 4,2022 in the school auditorium by Senior Humanities Forum headed by Mr Kamal Kumar .The competition was hosted by Patel House under the leadership of Mrs Manjit Dhaliwal.
24 students participated from all the houses prepared on the following
topics:
Group 1(9&10)-Community Service should be made Mandatory in High School Only
Group 2(11&12)-The Tragedy of India Lies in the Immortality of Corruption
Though the students got their topics 24 hours prior the competition,still they were well prepared for the same.
Rebuttal round was conducted by Mrs.Nidhi Saggar after each group.
Ms Kalpana Sharma and Mrs Pooja Nagpal were the judges for the same.
The principal,Mr A.P.Sharma and the Vice Principal Mrs Sonia Verma presided over the function.
Mr.A.P.Sharma gave very useful tips to become good orators.
Results
Group 1
Raman House bagged First position followed by Nehru House and third position bagged by Subhash House..
Group 2
First position was bagged by Tagore House and Nehru and Gandhi House shared second position and Patel House stood third.
