'The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe'. Tata Building India School Essays Competition 2018-19 was held on Jan 16, 2019. About 900 students from the Middle and Higher sections participated in it. The budding contestants penned their thoughts on the topic:" What are the lessons for a happy and prosperous new India, from Mahatma Gandhi? How can you adopt any of these lessons in your own life, as a good citizen?" The best ten entries- Priyanka Jain VIII-B, Gazal Sharma VIII-D, Anushka Mehta VI-A bagged the top three positions while Tamanna Aneja VIII-E and Mantika Aggarwal VIII-B bagged the consolation prizes from the Middle section whereas Roohi XI B, Pragati XI and Aditya IX A bagged the first, second and third prizes and Archan IX A and Samridhi XI D bagged the consolation prizes from the higher section. All the entries are now sent to Banglore for the National level selection.
