Kundan Vidya Mandir has always inculcated a futuristic vision in it’s students. Carrying forward this tradition the school has started the Project -My Punjab 2041. Coincidentally 2041 is also the centennial year of the school. This project includes many activities which instill pride for Punjab in the hearts of these young citizens as well as making them think of ways and means to bring prosperity and joy back in their Rangla Punjab.

As part of this initiative an Awareness Rally – Saada Punjab PYAARA PUNJAB,Our Punjab our pride was taken out this morning.

The rally was flagged off by Mr. Shubham Wadhwa, Gold Medallist, Para National Table Tennis Championship. More than 300 students and staff members carrying Placards and raising slogans praising the varied facets of Punjab covered a distance of nearly 2 Kms to raise awareness.

Addressing the rally, School Principal Mr. A. P. Sharma said that Punjab has always been a trendsetter state with a rich and varied cultural heritage. Punjabis should feel pride in their motherland and take every measure to bring glory to this colourful state.Punjabi youth must be inspired by laying a foundation of pride for their motherland.

Mr. Shubham Wadhwa is a very fine example of Punjabi grit and recounted how the spirit of Punjabiyat kept him going even during his darkest days. He encouraged the students to never give up their dreams and strive to always be the best in all they do.

It was indeed heartening to see young students espousing the dream of a new, better and prosperous Punjab while still paying tributes to their glorious heritage .

School has planned to visit various schools of state to rejuvenate the youth by performing Nukkad nataks and flash mob events.
